Thursday, December 17th

Employees, spouses/dependents over the age of nine (9) of employees, and RSU 24 retirees are eligible to participate in one of the clinics. Every Maine Educators Association Benefits Trust plan includes 100% coverage for preventive benefits, including flu shots, to help members and their families stay healthy. The flu shot is free for MEA Benefits Trust members who get the flu shot at a school clinic, and there's no charge to the school district.  (FYI:  The nasal "FluMist" will NOT be administered at the clinics.)

In order to receive a flu shot, your health insurance card must be provided and you must complete a "Screening Questionnaire and Consent Form" attached, available soon at each location office.   Employees who are not covered by insurance may participate by paying a $31.99 fee to Rite Aid.  Please complete a screening form (two pages, front and back) and turn it into your school secretary no later than the morning of Friday, December 11th, so that the Rite Aid team may plan ahead for the total number of vaccines at each location and across the district.  (Secretaries:  Please send all screening forms together in one packet to me at the DSF.  A Rite Aid Wellness Ambassador will be picking them up from me on Monday, December 14th.)
