Sumner Memorial High School After School Program
Sumner Memorial High School
Dear Families,
Welcome back! I’m thrilled to announce that the After School Program is returning for another exciting year filled with opportunities for middle and high school students. Whether your student is looking for extra academic support, a place to express their creativity, or a chance to connect with others, we have something for everyone.
My name is Lexi Tracey (formerly Stinson), and I’m excited to continue coordinating this program. As a Sumner alum and educator, I’m passionate about creating a space where students can thrive outside of the traditional classroom.
This year’s offerings include, but are not limited to, Structured Study, which provides a quiet, focused environment to catch up on schoolwork; Art Club for middle schoolers to explore creative projects; Cooking Club for high schoolers to build practical kitchen skills; and Spirit Club for both middle and high school students to attend various events and build positive school culture. We’ll also host occasional enrichment activities, community service opportunities, and pop-up workshops based on student interest.
If you are a parent, caregiver, or community member interested in starting or supporting a new after-school activity, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We are always open to expanding our programming to reflect the interests and talents of our school community.
Our programming runs weekly with rotating activities Monday-Thursday from directly after school until 4:30 PM. Bus transportation is provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Stay tuned for registration details and schedules coming home soon.
If you have questions or ideas, you can contact me directly at [email protected].
Looking forward to a fantastic year!
Warmly,
Lexi Tracey
