This is my first full year as a technology integrator, and I am super excited! I earned a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Maine nine years ago, and have been the "go to person" at Cave Hill School in Eastbrook since the beginning of the MLTI project. I loved my years teaching at CHS, but always hoped there would be an integrator position open up in the area. I feel very privileged to be able to work in all of our RSU schools helping teachers and students with technology and am especially interested in using the Tandberg teleconferencing system to communicate both locally and internationally with other classes, museums, universities, and military parents on active duty.

Check out my YouTube channel with help videos I've created this summer for various Infinite Campus and Google applications. I will be adding to this channel all year, so subscribe to get the latest and greatest!

MEA Testing Off to a Good Start

Last week we started the MEA testing in grades 3, 4, and 7 in RSU24. Although we had a few minor glitches, overall the week was very successful. Students remarked that they liked it much better than the NECAP, a paper and pencil test that this online test replaced, and they liked that it is an adaptive test. Thanks to the teachers throughout the district who spent time over the past few weeks prepping their students for this new experience, students were ready and able to take the test successfully.
