2007 Tobacco Treatment Service Guide Application
The Tobacco Treatment Services Guide has served as a valuable tool for both healthcare professionals and the general public in identifying where intensive tobacco counseling can be found. It also serves as the main resource for the Maine Tobacco HelpLine staff to link callers to their local community services. The new guide will include not only hospital-based tobacco treatment services as in the past, but now also will include services that are open to the general public that are based in mental health agencies, substance abuse counseling agencies, community health centers, community-based entities and free-standing programs delivered by Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists. ~
