District News and Announcements

Awesome News!

At its monthly meeting yesterday in Fairfield, the Maine State Board of Education approved the "Site Application" for the new Sumner Memorial High School new building project. The next Building Committee meeting will take place on December 18, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the District Services Facility.

Test of Emergency Messenger System

To RSU 24 Parents:
Next week on Nov. 13-14 we will be testing the RSU #24 Emergency Messenger System. You will receive an email on Tuesday notifying you of this test, and then the test message will arrive Wednesday. This message will be sent by text, voice, and/or email, whatever method you requested in Infinite Campus. If you do not receive this message by end of day Wednesday, Nov. 14, please let your school secretary know, as this means you are not signed up for emergency messages or your contact information has changed. This is the system we use for snow days, early release due to power outages, and other important RSU #24 information. Thank you.
