Keith Eaton, Isis Heyman, Ross Fowler, Nick Harding, Jacob Fallica, Madison Jones and Mitchell Wilson, along with their coach, Ann McCann, parents, and grandparents, traveled to Augusta on Saturday. This was the state robotics competition. These students had to design an innovative solution to a problem that Senior Citizens might have. After interviewing our 'Senior Partner' - Mrs. Jane Fowler - researching a problem, and designing and programming the robot to complete 'missions', the team ended up with 270 points. This was enough to win the second place (out of 67 teams) for robot performance. It was a very exciting day! So much fun, teamwork, and so much science, technology, engineering, and math! The team is already planning for next year! We were sponsored by Jay Fowler and Sons.
