At approximately 10:40 this morning, we were made aware of a threat directed toward the Charles M. Sumner Learning Campus. We immediately went into lockdown and followed the necessary protocols to keep our students and staff safe. We very much appreciate the prompt response from the Maine State Police, Maine Wardens Office, and the local authorities. After a thorough investigation, the threat was not deemed credible. We are no longer in lockdown and the school day has resumed. We very much appreciate the cooperation and efforts of our students and staff.
